Dina Matos McGreevey, estranged wife of former New Jersey Governor Jim McGreevey has entered the TV circuit to endorse her book, "Silent Partner." Jim McGreevey resigned in 2004 after coming out as a "gay American." In January of this year, Ms. Matos McGreevey announced that she was writing the book to end media speculation about her life.
The book was released 3 days ago. A day later, the author broke her silence and appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show to promote the book.
Yesterday she appeared on the Good Morning America show with Diane Sawyer and stated, "I thought I had it all, I thought it was the American dream, and it turned out to be a nightmare . . . You know he had the entire day [that he resigned] scripted. His entire life had been choreographed, and even as his world was flaling apart, he was still trying to script everything and making sure that day went as he wanted it."
